The visit
Wiston works as a booked tour and tasting or as a relaxed drop-in for a glass and a walk, wrapped around the Chalk restaurant and 58km of open footpaths.

Cellar Door & Wine Flights
Prefer to just taste? Counter tastings in the Cellar Door are £10 per person — or free if you buy a bottle. Wine Flights, in NV and vintage options, are served in the courtyard at Chalk.
58km of footpaths
The estate has 58km of public footpaths and bridleways, free to walk without booking a thing. Dogs are welcome on leads, and so are families and picnics.
Nearest stations are Worthing and Horsham, both with regular services from London and Brighton, and both about a 20-minute taxi or Uber to the estate. There is free parking at the winery.
Wiston is marking 20 years since its first vines with two new releases: Tank Five Chardonnay, its first still Chardonnay from 100% estate fruit, and Fifty Summers Rosé. A big awards year too — the Vintage Cuvée Magnum 2009 took the English Sparkling Trophy at 97 points, and Wiston was named WineGB's Best Contract Winery.

Are dogs welcome at Wiston?
Dogs are welcome in the courtyard, on the Vineyard Explorer tour (on a lead) and on the estate's public footpaths. They cannot join the winery tour or come inside the Chalk restaurant.
Can families and children visit?
Yes. Families and under-18s are welcome at Chalk, on the estate walks and for picnics. Under-18s cannot take part in the winery tours, tastings or other events where alcohol is served.
