The visit
Roebuck is a summer estate. Tours, The View and the wine bar all run roughly May to September, and everything except the wine bar needs booking. If you want to turn up on spec, the Sparkling Wine Bar is the way in.
The Sparkling Wine Bar — no ticket required
The wine bar is open to anyone, with no ticket needed, from 1pm on Saturdays and Sundays through the summer. That makes it one of the few genuinely drop-in options among the Petworth estates.
£25 now, £30 from the 2027 season
The Tour & Tasting is currently £25 a head, and the estate has confirmed this rises to £30 for the 2027 season. For Sunset Sipping, couples usually order a grazing board and a bottle to share at £75 for two.
Tours need four — but you’re unlikely to be bumped
Tours run with a minimum of four guests, so in theory a couple’s booking could be rearranged. In practice the estate says it’s very rare to have only two guests, and cancellations don’t usually happen. Tours take up to 25 people and smaller bookings are grouped together.
Children at the wine bar and Sunset Sipping
Under-18s can’t join the vineyard tours, but they are most welcome at Sunset Sipping and the Wine Bar, where soft drinks are available.

The ground at The View is uneven and the estate can’t accommodate guests with mobility issues there. All ticketed events must be booked in advance — no drop-ins except the wine bar. You can’t bring your own food or wine, but there’s covered space if the weather turns. Dogs are welcome on the vineyard tour, on a lead throughout.
