How the day runs
Sedlescombe is England's oldest organic wine estate and the only one of the three with food, so it anchors the middle of the day. Mountfield is eight minutes away, a ten-acre family estate with the winery in an old dairy. Oastbrook is the one to bring the dog and the children to — it's built for it, and there's a resident dog called Lora who will find you.
Opening days shift with the season and several of these need booking. Check each estate before you commit to the train — we list what we've confirmed, but vineyards change their minds about Sundays.
